Partner Recovery

Recovery focuses exclusively on distressed and stressed UK Retail and Consumer facing businesses. The model deploys principal investment alongside a range of relevant skills.

The target market is UK businesses in the sub £50mm revenue segment where Recovery believes it can quickly stabilise the investment, properly finance it and bring in the operational expertise to create a 3x return in two years; preferably less.

Deals are sourced from Partner Capital's extensive business and entrepreneur networks together with the recovery team's close contacts with UK insolvency practitioners and other relevant participants in the distressed sector.

Recovery combines proven retail/consumer turn-around expertise with incisive forensic accounting and insolvency financial skills. The whole is complimented by access to a network of management teams and well known, successful UK entrepreneurs.

The team has completed two transactions at Partner Capital and will continue on a deal by deal basis until a fund is raised later in 2008.

Recovery is managed by Rupert Gather with Richard Simpson having partnership responsibility for the business.
